Chicken Teriyaki Recipe


This recipe is quick and simple, uses a few ingredients and produces a tasty dish. All you need is

  • Protein of choice 
  • Soy sauce 
  • Brown Sugar
  • Honey
  • Sesame seeds or sesame oil
1 tablespoon of oil
500g skinned, boneless chicken breast
180ml soy sauce
45g brown sugar
60ml of honey
3 tablespoons sesame seeds

Heat oil in frying pan over a high heat. While heating the oil, slice chicken into thin strips. Add chicken to the oil stirring occasionally. Once chicken is cooked, add the soy sauce, brown sugar and honey and stir. Bring the heat down once the mixture comes to a boil. Stir until the sauce thickens add 2 tablespoons sesame seeds to sauce and stir. Then remove the pan from the heat.

Serve with rice or side of choice, use remainder sesame seeds a garnish.
You can make your own variations of this dish, by simply adding veg to the sauce just before you bring it of the heat.
